  1. Soak mustard seeds 2 TSP, soak poppy seeds 3 tbsp, and make a paste with green chili.
    Add mustard oil 2tsp, salt, turmeric powder, hung curd 1/2cup to the paste. Mix well.
  2. Wash banana leaf. Just char on gas directly for few seconds to make the leaves soft and easy to fold. Do not burn them.
  3. Place a medium-cut leaf apply the paste in the middle 1 tbsp, lay 1 cut fish piece of apply the paste again on top, sprinkle 1 TSP mustard oil, and a slit green chili. Fold the banana leaf properly without tearing and tie them with thread or pin with a toothpick.
  4. Make as many as you want. grease the pan with mustard oil. Cover and cook for at least 4-5 minutes on each side.


    Serve with piping hot rice.


    (*Use of mustard oil is a must for the flavor)
