- 1 tbsp white and black mustard seeds paste
- 1/2 tsp black cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 4 tbsp mustard oil
- as needed Water
- As per taste Salt
- as per taste Sugar

- Marinate the fishes with turmeric powder and salt and keep them for 10 minutes.

- Take oil in Kadai and lightly fry the fishes and keep aside.

- In the same Kadai add further 1 tbsp oil, add black cumin seeds, green chili, ginger paste and immediately add 1 tbsp water. Keep the mustard paste ready.


- Now add the fishes, turmeric powder, some water, and cover and cook slowly. Finally, add 1 tbsp mustard paste and just boil for 2 minutes or it may become bitter. Sprinkle few drops of mustard oil and serve with hot rice.
