  16. 1 tsp salt
  17. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  18. 3 medium size pomfrets
  19. For first milk of Coconut
  20. 2 cups grated coconut
  21. 2 cups chilled water
  22. For second milk of Coconut
  23. 2 cups grated coconut
  24. 2 cups chilled water
  25. For Curry
  26. 2 Tbsp oil
  27. 3-4 cups water
  28. 5-6 Schezwan whole pepper
  29. 3-5 kokum
  30. 1 cup Paste
  31. Coconut milk -1st type and 2nd type
  32. leaves For garnish coriander

  1. In a blender add grated coconut, whole red chillies, black peppercorns, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, onion, salt, chilled water, coconut water and make a fine paste, set aside
  2. Add water to the grated coconut and blend - this is first type coconut milk which is thick
  3. Add water to the grated coconut again and blend - this is second type coconut milk which is thin
  4. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt, set aside
  5. In a pan heat oil, add water and then add the paste, mix and let it come to first boil, add Schezwan pepper, kokum and second type coconut milk, mix well.
  6. Add the marinated fish and add first type coconut milk and cook on low flame for 3-4 mins to get the fish cooked, add some more kokums, set aside
  7. Garnish and plate. Enjoy 😊
