  1. Smear the fish with turmeric and salt.Heat mustard oil in a pan and lightly fry the fish (in medium heat) till golden on all sides; keep aside
  2. Make a mixture of onion, garlic, 1 chilli,diced mangoes, mustard seeds in grinder to make the paste.
  3. Take mustard oil and add panchforon, bay leaves, red chilli, and temper. Then add the paste and cook till the raw smell is gone. Add salt and sugar to taste. No turmeric is added here. Add and cook the fried fishes in the gravy, add some water and slow cook. At the end sprinkle some raw mustard oil. Serve with steamed rice.
