  2. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 tsp carom seeds powder(ajwain)
  4. 1 tsp fennel seeds powder(sauf)

  6. 100 gms besan(chickpeas flour)
  7. 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
  8. to taste salt
  9. Oil for frying
  10. Juice of one lemon

  1. Wash fish peices and drain all the water well. Apply salt, termeric and lemon juice. Keep aside atleast for 20 minutes.
  2. Mix together besan, tamarind pulp, ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add all dry ingredients and form a lump free paste.
  3. Apply the prepared paste on fish pieces and coat it well. Leave it marinating for minimum one hour.
  4. In a frying pan shallow fry them in medium heat on both the sides until they are crispy. While frying add few curry leaves, that will add to the flavours.
