- cooking oil
- 1 large onion
- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- Fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- sticks Cinnamon
- Milk(optional)
- to taste salt
Steps to make Cinnamon Fish
- Deep fry the fish till done. set aside.
- In a nonstick cooking pot, heat cooking oil. Fry onions, bell pepper, garlic and ginger paste till done. Should take about 3 minutes.
- Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook till done.
- Add cinnamon powder and the cinnamon sticks. Then add a cup of water (or more depending on how much fish you are making) Also add milk at this stage.Add salt to taste.
- Bring to boil then add the fish. Let it simmer for about 7 minutes or till done.
- Serve with vegetables and Ugali or Rice. Yummm 😋
